You invite a spectator up on stage and ask them to have a seat. After a few seconds of comedic chit-chat, it's time to get down to business. You pull the cover off of a bright yellow and black had chest with a menacing skull on the front. Just about the time your audience sees the daggers going through the skull in the picture, you reveal a wooden holder containing 15 solid metal daggers! You remove the front plate of the head chest and place it over your spectator's head so that the audience can see that they really are in the head chest and then you lock them into place by closing the back and front of the head chest! One by one, you grab the daggers and thrust them through the head chest and (seemingly) through your victim's head! You then open the front of the head chest to reveal that all the daggers did indeed go through the head chest, but your spectator's head has now vanished from the top of his body!

Over the years, this amazing illusion has been a staple of stage magicians all over the world. We have completely deconstructed this great effect and have built it back up bigger and better than before. We have taken the absolute best from previous version of this illusion and have re-designed the rest! Hand crafted in our workshop and made of 100% American made wood and metals with a beautiful formica finish. One of the key re-designs we have made to this head chest that makes it far superior in quality over other versions, is the addition of rare Earth magnets. These magnets have been strategically placed inside the head chest at key points to lock the vanishing gimmick in place. No more slipping or worrying if it will open or close on it's own. Also, we have added three black handles that tastefully blend in with the overall design of the head chest and serve as hand-holds for your spectator while they are inside the head chest. Other brands just have the head chest sitting clunkily on thier shoulders, with ours, you have a much more professional looking performance because the spectator is now an actual participant in the trick and not just going along for the ride!

Speaking of a professional look, we also provide you with a beautifully hand crafted wood dagger rack. No more grabbing the daggers from a flat table rolled out onstage where no one but you can see them just lying there. This classic design shows off the daggers in full view of the audience at all times so that they know there is no switching daggers or other funny business going on. Finally, we have added 1/2" cable clamps to the whole head chest assembly so that the daggers lock themselves in tight and won't slip out during the performance like other models can.
