This works well and can be quite an astonishing thing to see. However, it isn't an "impromtu" trick. There is quite a bit of setup involved that you can't just do on the fly. I have a friend who performs this as part of a magic/informational show he does all year and all over the country at conventions for a major corporation. It works well for him; because the night before he needs them, he sets up the required number of cans that will be required the next day for his shows, (he does several a day). In that controlled environment, with plenty of "alone time" to setup the materials, it is a very successful illusion for him. Again, this is a great illusion and works well. Just understand that you will not be able to do this "impromptu" or in a walk-around situation.
