This is a quality item. Shoots out lit flash paper, effectively shooting fireballs from you hands!
I like that it has two barrels with separate ignition switches. This allows you to time a second fireball without having to reload or have a second flash gun loaded and available. Recommended. However, please see the notes below.
A few notes to ponder prior to purchasing:
1. This works well; but keep in mind that it is a dangerous item and not a toy for children or something to use for parties, July 4th events, etc. During a recent performance, I was in complete darkness, (the darkness was necessary and scheduled). I was, however, running slightly behind schedule and upon being bathed in darkness, I was attempting to snap the battery in place and did not realize that the gun was facing toward my palm on my opposite hand. With little surface area to work with, I was also unknowingly depressing the activation switch. As soon as the battery made contact, a fireball shot into my left palm and through my index, middle and ring fingers of that hand. Looked cool; but I received blisters from the burns and scorch marks I couldn't wash off for days. Do not get lazy with the operation of this item or you will get hurt.
2. There is a small, clear, plastic washer item that connects between the cord and the heating coil. It's small and hard to keep track of when it comes off. ...And it will come off. Make sure you're ready to catch it when you disconnect the cord. Finding a lost one could prove difficult. Finding a replacement washer may prove even more difficult.
3. The more flash paper you use, the bigger the flame and the farther it shoots. However, too much paper and your wad of flash paper will just pop out of the barrel - unlit and unimpressive. Make sure you have enough flash paper to practice with so you know just how much will give you what you need without being too much to operate properly.
4. This uses flash cotton AND flash paper, (together), to operate. Make sure you have both for the most efficient and best operation of this item. Note, aslo, that if you don't already have flash paper and/or flash cotton and are ordering some, they are shipped wet and must dry out for approximately 24 to 48 hours. Wet flash cotton/paper will not work! (I know this is common sense to those familiar with flash paper; but not everyone knows this and I thought it proper to mention it here.)
