I have a lot of different types of thumbtips for various uses. This is a good quality thumbtip. It is not the most realistic one I own, but it certainly is the most realistic looking one you can get for this price. The standard and soft Vernet tips fit me perfectly and this one is slightly more snug than those; so that should give you an idea on the size of the thumbtip. However, the fact that it is rubber and flexible makes for a compfortable and secure fit. This thumbtip is not thin, so you can actually take an Exacto knife or a razor blade and carve a little material out of the inside opening of the tip if you need to size it up a bit. I can fit a 9" silk or a silk thumb tip streamer into this tip without any difficulty. This is great for liquid suspension effects or to vanish salt or sugar. I put a thin strip of slick contact paper on the inside, fingerprint side of the tip and that provides the perfect surface with which you can perform a bill switch - all in a thumb tip that is soft, flexible, durable and 'quiet' in performance. Recommended.
