If you have at least 1 Hot Rod or other paddle trick in your box of magic tricks, and you actually use it, then I think this would be a nice addition to the family. Set up so you can count 1-6 and don't have to worry about spelling it. "Pick a number 1-6, and we'll COUNT it out" can now be said and you hit it on the spot every time! Very eye catching and the switch is so easy yet looks so good. Allowing people to investigate the trick without finding out the secret. It's size and thickness also are much easier to manipulate than you would think too.
I now carry this one around in my pocket instead of my hot rod wherever I go.
