I use to think you could make your own using 3 different books spliced together so I was loss too prior to buying. Only costs the price of a normal color book so well worth it. Just remember that while it is fireworks, it provides opportunity to push what ever agenda you want through a created story that will become rote. Mine was about a poorly behaved kid given blank pages when all 40 other students had written pages (big eyes and applause). He changed his way from worst to first and his blank pages now had writing.
