The Invisible Deck is a classic, mind-boggling effect that, when presented well, has the potential of being a reputation-maker. It is my second favorite card-related illusion available and one that I perform often. Thanks the the way in which the deck is constructed, there is very little work you have to do to make the magic happen. It's all in your personal presentation and remembering/calculating a particular formula. A lot of magicians shy away from the Invisible Deck either because it requires no real sleight of hand, (they've worked so hard at their sleights that they don't want to use a deck that works for them), or that requires them to process a formula in their heads. I'll say this: I'm the WORST when it comes to anything dealing with numbers and I have thus far NEVER messed up the presentation of the Invisible Deck. (Which is amazing because I've messed up so many other, much simpler illusions in my day!) This illusion takes some brain work and relies heavily on your performance/presentation. But the brain work required is minimal and, thanks to the reactions this effect receives, so is the presentation. It's well-worth the cost. It's powerful, it's easy and it's a classic.
