The magician displays two playing cards to the audience.

One card is held across the palm and a matchstick or toothpick is placed on the back of the card.

The magician begins to bow the card slightly and the match begins to levitate above the card.

The second card is passed beneath the match showing no visible means of support!

The match floats back down and can be handed out for examination!
