Perhaps the perfect and most elegant penetration effect of all!

The magician presents a playing card and two coins to the audience. The card is then placed on top of a glass, and the coins are placed on top of the card.

The magician picks up the card slightly, and taps it on top of the glass, and the audience witnesses one of the coins miraculously fall through the card and drops into the glass. The performer lifts the card again and begins tapping it on top of the glass, and amazingly the second coin falls through the card into the glass!
