The magician shows a half dollar and a dollar bill. He then tosses the coin onto the bill and it visibly penetrates halfway into the bill. The magician clearly shows the head side of the coin on top of the bill and the tail side of the coin on the other side of the bill. Slowly, the magician slides the coin down the bill until it melts together and everything is handed out for examination.
