A red wooden ball is placed into an empty glass tumbler. The glass is then covered with a handkerchief. The performer pulls the handkerchief downwards, outside of the glass. Suddenly, the red wooden ball starts penetrating the handkerchief until it reaches the top and is removed by the performer. Handkerchief and ball may then be offered for examination. This is a most mystifying effect, but easy to do. Complete with glass, decorative handkerchief and wooden ball.
