The effect is fun but you can still see how the effect works if you are performing in a close up situation. If the lights are dim, it might work for you. My complaint is that the magnet on the back is pressed into the case so much that you can see the indent on the back and INSIDE the wallet where the card is. That is very hard to hide when they see a round impression on the clear flap where the card initially is. Not a bad effect, but I have no idea why it is impressed so firmly into the card case.
