This has quickly become my favorite ring flight and there hasn't been a day since receiving it that I haven't carried it with me. 'Departure' has joined the Hot Rod, FreaKey and a thumb tip as a "never leave home without it" illusion! If you have or are familiar with the RinKey Dinky ring flight, you will LOVE 'Departure.' This is similar in look when revealing the ring; but the clip on the key ring that the ring ends up on is more "masculine" looking and is much, much easier to load than any other ring flight I've used thus far. This is constructed well and the apparatus is steel, so it's strong and durable and should be long-lasting. It's also a lot quieter than any other ring flight I have that uses this method. If you're in a dead-silent room and are not providing any patter, then sure it'll be heard. If you perform this outside, there's little chance that it'll be heard. In most cases, it will be virtually silent. If you perform strolling magic in a restaurant or other similarly-noisy area, there's no chance this will be heard. The explanation CD is short; but certainly thorough enough to get you started. If you've previously performed a ring flight using this basic method, then this will be self-explanatory right out of the bag. If this is your first ring flight, then you'll be spoiled and will probably hate anything else that isn't 'Departure.' This is a very visual, very well-made quality ring flight apparatus.
