Not as tough as the leather coin purses by Goshman and this one has the old-fashioned clasp on the outside that makes it look a coin purse my grandmother would carry! I have a couple of these purses; but don't carry them often. For me, I use it strictly in conjunction with a thumb tip to produce and/or vanish silks. Depending on what your needs are and what your personal style is, this may be a good coin purse for you. It's solid black with no pattern on it, so it's suitable for everyone. I just think it's a little out-dated and slightly feminine in its appearance. ...But that's just my personal opinion. It works well for tricks I do that call for such a coin purse; but for practical use not revolving around specific illusions, I would stick with the leather Goshman coin purse with the internal clasp.
